YUM YUM!

I started cooking early today =) Made some of that hour long rice pudding custard stuff it's awesome. Now I'm cooking garlic bread that I put cheese, jalapenos, garlic, and butter on, rice, and some big whoppin wild king crab legs that I am cooking in some sort of sauce that smells good. Hope I don't make the babe sick. We had Venezuelan meatballs the other day and Emily chowed those things down. When she was done she took her hands and ran them through her hair...yuck.
I wonder if this wild cooking fling thing that I got into, is going to stay with me after the pregnancy. 'Cos I am havin fun with it =)

A bunch of out of the blue random posting

Pregnant yep, my feelings about being prego are better. I Struggled a lot there for the first bit with accepting it. 12 weeks in and its going good. My health is awesome! =) Tired yes, and the hormonal stuff...whatever. Fav food right now is hot n' sour soup, any day and everyday please! If I ever got myself a job I would go to the spa and spend all the green to go and get pampered... does that sound awesome or what, Awe yah!
Yesterday I got into a mood of wanting to do nothing but cook. For me thats a bit weird. So I made porcupine meatballs and gorilla poop, haha that doesn't sound the best. I am excited for tomorrow 'cos thats when our foodstamp card gets reloaded. So I am going to go shopping and make who knows what. I'm just excited!
Me and Cor went ice skating on our anniversary, it was so much fun. He had the whole day planned out and I had no idea what was going on. Except I got to pick where to eat and decided to go to the mall and try on huge expensive dresses that I would point and laugh at and say thats so ugly and then later I try it on and say awe thats so pretty! We both had a great time.
Emily is doing fabulous, jabbering all the time, sticking magnets in her mouth, and just content and happy. She crawls up grandma and grandpas stairs all by herself with no one knowing. Got some good exercise 'cos she slept real good that night =) She's going to be in nursery in April...weird.

She's sick =(

'Lil Emily has been pretty sick for a while now. We both got swine flu and had high fevers a few weeks ago and were sick for about a week. She got put on some meds and got better. Which is good. Breaks and kills the mom's heart when you look into your little ones eyes that are all doped up with meds and just feeling really nasty. Wish I could take it all away, but mom can only do so much, and I will! A few days after she got off the meds again she got sick with high fevers! 103-105 is where the temperature likes to hang out. It got to 105.7 once but we were able to get it to drop down A LOT within minutes. Our routine is we give her the tylenol, take all the clothes off, and put a cold wet rag around the neck. Then we cuddle cuddle cuddle. She hasn't worn any clothes for a while now, seems like any type of clothing we put on her even a t-shirt the fever goes up. So today I decided to but some booty shorts on her and so far so good =) Hoping she will be better by christmas! But I guess that doesn't really matter... I just want my little girl to feel better soon.

Emily's 1st Birthday!

It was sooo weird to write our names on her birthday card... Love "MOM AND DADDY" Guess it still hasn't really hit us that we are parents... of a one year old???

We opened presents and that was fun she got some cute and fun things! I think me and Emily both didn't really know what to do... I think we got the hang of it when it came to the last bit of presents. She loved the shiny bows and the boxes to chew on =)

Her cake it was adorable a little castle that Amber made for her and it looked awesome! Emily didn't like it... didn't want to touch it or taste it. Maybe it felt weird? Got some on her feet and hands, she's such a goofy girl. She loved the ice cream though! I put a smily face on her tummy with frosting and then a frowny face on her back... =) She's such a cutie!
